I realize I like to know the negatives of popular things. Like when that dove commercial was going around, where the women described their selves and some dude drew them. The first couple of times I saw it I didn't feel like watching the video. But when I saw an article criticizing it I jumped on it.
I don't know what it is, I prefer critical articles (some times). My theory is that critical articles are more passionate. Go on Amazon and read some product reviews. 5 star reviews are like "good product. as advertized". While negative product reviews have CAPS LOCK ON AND A BUNCH OF EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're just more interesting. But on the other hand I'm trying to be more positive and less cynical. Oh well.

Popularity

I'm not very popular. I don't mean like prom queen with hundreds of friends, I just mean any friends. This applies to real life and on the internet. No one reads this blog (exept for the Year of Projects posts but that dosn't count) and other websites where I post things, no one cares. It's frustrating because I've been on some of those websites for a while now and nothing. And because it's a public thing I see people and their friends and I think "What am I doing wrong?" I realise I need to be more social, especialy in real life, but on some of those websites I am. I just want people to talk to.
I guess I'll keep trying.
